Hey, I'm a professional CS:GO player and I need help with my streaming settings because people and fans don't enjoy watching my stream when the pixelation makes it look awful.

UPLOAD: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3180952422

Computer Specs:

CPU: AMD Vishera 8350 FX - 8x 4GHz
GPU: Nvidia zotac gtx 650 TI 2gb
Memory: 16GB
Motherboard: gigabyte 990xa-ud3

Current OBS Settings:

Video Resolution: 1280x720
Bitrate: 2500 - Buffer: 1000
CBR and CBR padding
FPS: 60
Filter: Lanczos best detail, 36 sample
x264 preset: Very fast
codec - AAC , bitrate - 128

Anyone can help me out with some settings?

was there a reason for the custom buffer?

720@60 in a high motion games needs quite some upload but a 2.5k bitrate should look decent with the same bitrate/bufferszie

In "encoding" tab you should check in "minimize network impact". I just recieved answer about my ping spikes yesterday on this forum so that should help you a lot. I'm able to stream at 2200 bitrate with 2900 max upload speed without any lags including active teamspeak.

Other then that you shouldnt really have FPS problems. Try fps_max 160 (doesnt really makes difference and prevents cpu to drop frames for example from 250 to 160 and maybe make shuttering).

(Btw curious to know what is your nickname in CSGO scene ? Thanks)

well recently a lot people have problems on the fx 8xxx series cpu's in case of performance i have no idea why because technically they should perform just fine.

all you can do is cap your fps ingame so your cpu doesnt try to max out ingame performance all the time

slippyskiclshot, please create your own thread.

That goes for everybody reading this now. Don't necro an old post, especially with an unrelated question.
