Question / Help Stream with HDMI in

Hi,
I have an Alienware 17 with a GTX 780m witch got an HDMI in port.
I wanted to know if its possible to stream my Xbox Gameplay through this port.

I würde gerne wissen ob es möglich ist mein Xbox Gameplay über diesen Port zu streamen.
 
How is it displayed? Is it played through some program or is it just using that input to interface with the monitor directly?
 
As i can see its using the screen but some Alienware programms can interact with it.
Windows:

I press [FN] + [F9]
Message appears:

Xbox:

I press [FN] + [F9] again

Well, if the thing is just going through to your monitor, it's not like your computer can actually "see" the data that's coming in. If there's no DirectShow interface for the port, there's no way to capture it.

To me, it personally just seems like some sort of HDMI passthrough.
 
Yeah that definitely looks like passthrough only, you won't be able to capture with it. It basically turns your laptop screen into a monitor with HDMI input.
