Question / Help Stream to Media Server via RTMP

Hello all,

I was wondering if it is possible to use OBS to push a live cam stream to a media server via the RTMP protocol which will then allow multiple users to connect to it?

If this is possible to do with OBS how would I set it up effectively?

OBS can capture the camera (if its usb/webcam) directly or using a capture card (for hdmi/s-vga or whatever). Its also possible to capture a desktop window or whole monitor that shows the live cam feed.
And OBS can stream to a RTMP server. You might want to check out the quickstart/overview guides:
