Question / Help Stream tends to lag/skip

I have been trying to stream for a while and it doesn't always happen this way, but sometimes with some games, the stream will look a little laggy or will skip frames. the game it does it with the most is world of warcraft. I don't have the best internet connection, but it is decent for some games and not so much for others.

Yesterday I streamed WOW and when I looked back at it, sometimes it looked fine, but then other times, like in the cities, I will notice it will stutter/skip a frame. I also had some people come into the stream and they didn't mention it, but I'm sure they noticed it. I'm also going by the settings I found for my connection... other people have similar connections, so I kinda went by what they used.

I also can say that when I stream Half-Life 2, I get no lag and barely dropping frames. If it does drop any, its usually only between like 0.5% or 1.7% or something like that, while with wow its between 1.5% to 10%

I had to scroll down 2/3rds to find the first time you actually streamed in that log but....

You're using a USB Wireless adapter to stream with. Wireless is bad for streaming, USB is poor at being a network device. Get a PCIe (or built into the motherboard) hardwired ethernet connection. You have numerous warnings for an unstable connection, and there's a good chance they wouldn't occur with a hardwired connection. Streaming pushes too much data to be done reliably on wireless.

First time posting a log, so I just uploaded the latest one it showed basically.

Yeah, I have read that USB wireless is bad for streaming, until I can change how I get the internet, its all I can do at the moment. Plus, there's a big issue with having a hardwired connection, the modem and router is downstairs and my desktop is upstairs, too far from them, so there isn't an actual way to hook it up via cord, unless I bring the computer downstairs into the living room, which I definitely don't want to do because I don't want to lose my privacy if I wanna chat with friends, or stream/record without interruptions ect.

I mean, I can stream pretty well if it's not a multiplayer type of game like wow or call of duty, or that new rocket league game. If it's something like the walking dead or half-life, I have little to no issues streaming. Like the walking dead last week, I didn't have any drop frames or anything, so there wasn't any skipping in the VOD on twitch, or while i was actual streaming.

I am, however, trying to figure out a way to get a long enough ethernet cord to reach to the second floor. I thought about it going up the stairs or something, but I'm hoping I can come up with something better so people won't have to step over it ect
