Hey there,
So I've spent a while trying to rectify this issue to no avail so I have come to ask for your help OBS gods!
While recording a game stream, minimizing causes the recording to apparently stutter/crackle momentarily. Once at desktop, its relatively okay, but if i open a tab, such as google chrome, it stutters/crackles once more, the same with any other additional programs. If i maximize the game screen, stutter/crackle momentarily occurs again. While just in-game however, recording seems fine.
I run my mic through Adobe Audition with 2 filters - noise limiter and noise reduction. This runs through Virtual Audio Cables, which i use as my input source for OBS. Removing neither of these filters fixes the issue. However, closing Adobe Audition completely and running my mic straight through the Audio Input, rectifies the issue.
I've seen many people running the Adobe Audition/VC setup with success. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or know why its happening?
I believe my setup is powerful enough to run this without issues (specs below). Adobe Audition only using around 1-5% CPU power. Could it be my Adobe Audition settings somewhere along the line?
Appreciate any help thanks!
