Question / Help Stream quality got worse

(This is for World of Warcraft MMO)
So after the latest OBS Update my stream quality got wayyy worse.

With an older OBS (like 2 updates ago) I could stream 450-480p with no buffering, lag or other clusterfucks, and it was clearly watchable.

My net speeds then were: 30-40 ms to London UK Host, 20 ping, 14 download, 0.85 upload.
Now after I updated it: 5-10 ms to Stockholm EU, 7 ping, 18 download & 0,85 upload.

Using the same settings as before'ish and it was unwatchable, couldn't even see the texts. It feels like 240p or something..
Now to get to the point where it is watchable again I would have to put such high settings that I would have immense lag.

Could anyone tell me what settings I should try and / or what happened with the latest update?

Have a i7-3770 CPU 3.40 GHz
nVidia GeForce 660 graphic card

Post a log - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=97

You aren't going to have a great looking stream with only 0.85 Mbps up regardless of your settings, but link to an old video with "good" quality and a new video with "bad" quality so we can compare them.

http://pastebin.com/biYx3Yar This is the log.

Example of before my quality went to shit (In this I have about 40-50 ms ingame & no lags)

This is the closest I could get to the old quality (Notice that this one is blurring out abit when I move, aswell as I have 80-110 ms ingame with this, AND the quality is in general worse).

And like I said my internet and Stream server host has only gotten better since the old video.

You're using completely different settings in those two videos (rate control method, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, encoder preset) so it's not surprising that there's a quality difference. The most important change is probably that you went from medium preset to veryfast which will decrease compression and thus quality, so try reverting that setting.

I'm not sure how else we can help with the information you've provided other than to show you the settings you used before vs. the settings you used in the video you linked. You can use http://r-1.ch/analyze-twitch-vod.php to evaluate other VODs if you'd like. Nothing in the recent OBS updates would have caused the quality to get worse.
