Yes i know Dodgepong But i have been trying to get someone to make a script or something to work with obs so it can display what you are playing just like all the other players that work with the software

So you want a tool for OBS that shows in OBS what you are broadcasting through SAM player?

Also, stop making your posts bold/italic/underlined, it's just annoying.

Hello!

Love the tool, however Spotify just had an update and the program no longer recognizes the Spotify desktop player :(

Hi. I would really like to use this with Soundcloud, but groovemarklet isnt working on soundcloud for me. Using Firefox.
It recognizes Soundcloud, but it allways tells me "No Song Playing".
Tried different Versions of Groovemarklet.

Is there a different way to grab Artist and Title from Soundcloud?

It doesn't work with Spotify anymore since an update... :[
Well I believe you can downgrade Spotify. I had to since a lot of functions were removed. Honestly, it felt like a tablet version after the update.

Other than that, is it possible to add XMPlay support? That'd be great.

Thanks for noticing SMG wasn't working and taking over this new project. This might be a specific YouTube ish but I'd love the ability to filter words, characters, or strings from the output, namely things like "Official Music Video" or "(Explicit)". This would give people some more freedom in controlling how the song output looks.

Hello every1.

I just updated my Spotify to the most recent version and, according to the release notes (and i quote):
"On Windows, the title bar shows you which song is playing."

And, indeed, if i hover my mouse on the spotify icon, the name of the title bar is the name of the song.

This could mean that the issues that SMD was having with Spotify could be a thing of the past.

Unfortunately, im not home to confirm this.
Can any1 confirm this?

UPDATE: Got home, updated my Spotify, tried SMD and, unfortunately, NO, it still doesnt work.
So, plz, DONT BOTHER trying to update spotify if ur, like me, using an older version.

It doesn't work with iTunes, either.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Tried with Winamp and works great, as long as Winamp is not minimized... Am I missing something here?

[EDIT:] Solved.
I'm on Win10 Pro x64, and what I did was to check "Taskbar" and uncheck "System Tray" on "Winamp Settings/General/Show Winamp in:"
