Question / Help Stream + local recording. Not working

Hey guys, I have no problems streaming with my current settings, although I am having an issue saving a file locally at the same time.

I have the save file locally option selected, but after each streaming session... none of the local save files open... they are all corrupt or something.

I need this option because some stream sessions are longer than 2hrs and i want to be able to upload raw files to my youtube account.

any ideas

yes. it will cause a vlc player crash opon opening the file. if i open in quicktime it doesn't load the video, just audio.
 
If VLC crashes, you need to use the 64bit version of VLC to play it most likely. This could partly be an issue with OBS' MP4 code but I'm not entirely sure yet.

I can sometimes get windows media player or quicktime to play them if VLC crashes when opening them, but the problem that really bothers me is that I cannot play the video files though obs using the video plugin. It immediately crashes obs as soon as it tries to open the video file. I'm guessing whatever is causing vlc to crash is causing obs to crash.
