Question / Help Stream loading time

Hey.

After i changed MaxBitrate and BufferSize to 3500, the stream on twitch takes ages to load..
Have got a couple of friends to verify this, and they get the same long loading time.

Is there something with twitch or is 3500 to much?

Moved to Q&H, this forum is for programming / development of OBS.

3500 is the maximum recommended for Twitch, your friends likely have a poor connection to Twitch or slow internet.

Ah, thanks.
That would not be the case here, because me and them got a pretty good connection.
50/10 is more than good enough for watching a video from twitch.

Whatever bandwith you get from ISP doesn't matter. What matters is if the connection between you and the Twitch server can sustain that bitrate. If the stream is buffering a lot, the only way to fix it is to lower bitrate until it stops.
