Question / Help Stream lags more often now for viewers than before

You could try either lowering the framerate to 30FPS or up the bitrate (if possible). Could also be that the user's internet just cant handle the stream either at that moment (as they could be running things in the background using their net) or at all (they just have a crap connection, period) and there's not much you can do for that.

If you're going to use window capture sources in Windows Vista/7 you need to have Aero enabled. Don't use monitor capture at all, for anything, unless you're on Windows 8.

please correct me if im wrong, but I doubt aero & monitor capture has anything to do with my viewers lagging? Don't see the connection y'know but I'll def change that in my settings and appreciate it a lot. I can up the bitrate to 3k since thats the limit for Twitch.tv I think but would that make it worse for the viewers? I think I read here somehwere that lower the bitrate the better it is.Sorry for poor english hope I dont sound to arrogant, just wanna learn :)

And I only use monitor Capt. while im on the desktop, otherwise im going for game capture.

But If I understood you correctly, I should change the fps, up the bitrate (Buffrate is fine I guess?), Have window capture with aero enabled while im on desktop, and gamecapture with aero enabled ingame. Thank you all again!

If your only concern is viewer buffering read the stickied thread at the top of the forum - https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...oads-constantly-for-my-viewers-but-why.18465/

Avoiding monitor capture and enabling Aero for window capture are just general "don't use explicitly terrible settings for no reason" tips so your stream doesn't run poorly but you are of course free to do whatever you'd like.

Yeah Already read that thread just checked up if my settings were poorly fixed, and the fault was at me. But They are just lagging and buffering randomly so I guess it's a server problem... But I will avoid monitor capture for sure & enable Aero, thx man!

By Enabling aero in windows, Should I aswell enable it in obs, Correct?

You'd be correct, actually.. Had a momentary brainfart as I typed that out
