Question / Help Stream lags, game doesn't

So for the past few days whenever I try to stream Team Fortress 2 twitch my stream occasionally lags a fair bit, dropping to around 2 to 3 FPS, and stays that way unless I do something like stand in the same spot for five seconds. My game remains at around 50-60 FPS, but the stream crawls. My logs are at http://pastebin.com/ARbDstT5 . I've since lowered my webcam resolution and stream downscale settings, but is there anything else I can do to prevent this before I stream again?

FictionalCricket - please try to avoid posting about your thread on other threads, it's just a bit unfair to the original thread author because it somewhat derails from whatever his specific issue may or may not be (which you can't really know for sure, especially given that he's using the windows version).

Swordstone - you're getting lag from one of your sources. I'm guessing a window capture you're doing. It's lagging up your entire scene causing frames to be duplicated significantly. I would probably try a different capture method for whatever it is you're capturing with the window capture

Apologies.
