So i don't know what setting i should go for with my Internet speed. Can someone help me? I set it on 3000 kb/s and it lags. Can i set the quality or something?

I'm having lag problems as well! My internet looks like this:

Not only that, but I'm also having audio cut outs! If you want to know the full details of my problem, here's the link to the topic I've made: https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...ut-video-lag-and-audio-cut-outs-hitbox.26655/

@Molimo Speed tests mean almost nothing when it comes to streaming, try the below link. post your results here.

@General Snivy please dont hijack threads sir. start your own thread but feel free to follow the same advice if you still have issues.

Sorry about that. I didn't intend to hijack the thread in any way.

As for the advice, thanks for sharing. I'll have to check it out sometime.

What should i improve? Was in a skype call at the same time if that changes anything

You want to do the test with nothing else running to be honest. but this might be an twitch and/or ISP issue your speed is great just the latency is bad.

You are alright, just for future reference thread will sometimes be locked if OPs thread is overpowered by other issues.

@dping So does the latency make the stream lag? Is that the problem?
Latency only says one of two things, Traffic is being stalled somewhere OR there are a lot of hops before you get to your destination. Since they are all high, I would check with your ISP OR just double check all your network equiptment. Either way, the issue is somewhere between you, your ISP and Twitch.

So it is not that i have to buy better internet connection or anything? I can just ask them for a fix?

You just need to report that you are having issue streaming to twitch.tv from your ISP.

I doubt they will do anything but its worth a shot; they might check through your equipment.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but never really got it. Is it just because i live where i live or is it my internet? Is it normal? What should i do to have 0 lag but also a high bit rate?

Post a new logfile, but remind me are your viewers lagging or is the connection stalling on your end? from what I could see, the issue is on your end...
