Question / Help Stream Lag

Randomly my stream looks to lag. I did watch a handful of tutorials on how to set up my OBS correctly but does that mean I understand what Im actually changing in my settings - no.

Really not sure on the encoding tab and/advanced tab. Please help and thank you for any help!
Maybe its just me but my twitch is /makewayforwilly if you want to make sure its not just me lagging as I watch it.

Here is what I see needing to be changed if you want to stream to Twitch. Others may see more than what I see.

On the Advanced tab:

Encoding Profile: main
Keyframe Interval: 2
Use CFR; Checked
 
Don't use Monitor Capture. It's terribad and slow under Win7. It performs so poorly that it can cause in-game performance issues, not just with the stream.

Main profile isn't necessary. CFR is only needed if you plan to use something like Sony Vegas for editing highlights later; absolutely not needed for livestreaming. Keyframe Interval 2 is valid though.
 
Ok so I took off monitor capture for one. Two I added the keyframe interval to 2.

I realize my bitrate is maxed at 2000 but my upload speed when I did my test is over 7500 kbps. What would I be doing if I increased my max bitrate?
