Question / Help Stream Lag Low Framerates

Hello all,
My stream is really laggy lately and i don't know why, it was really smooth a few days ago and ever since i started the playthrough on mirror's edge, my other games started lagging as well (league of legends). Ingame the frame rate is flawless but when i look at it on the stream the quality is awful and the frame rates are so low

Here is an example of what I am experiencing,

Here is an example of how the stream was when I was satisfied with the quality

Unfortunately the videos of good and bad were for two completely different games with completely different requirements. However your computer is quite fantastic so there shouldn't be an issue on the hardware side of things. The stream didn't seem to have many issues in that particular log file either. Is that SLI, or just a single video card? SLI can have issues with capturing.

What is OBS's fps indicator saying in the bottom right hand corner of your screen? Is it different then what you want the fps to be at?

Jacob ~The FPS tells me that its at 45-60 fps, but it looks more like 20.
Jim ~ It's a single gpu.
Btw i was streaming DmC4 yesterday and the beginning of the stream was experiencing the same lag, however randomly in game i got alt-tabbed like 3 times and after the third time the stream became really smooth, does anyone know why this happened?

Did you have PhysX enabled in Mirror's Edge when streaming it?

Did you un-park your cores for your FX-8120 in windows? I see you're using Windows 7; there have been two hotfixes you need to also apply for your CPU to fully benefit the programs.

Mirror's edge is also an FPS with a lot of fast movement, your CPU has poor performance-per-clock-speed and your bitrate and FPS are high. You might actually simply be hitting the limits of your system if you are lacking the hotfixes required and your cores are parked. You may also consider overclocking the CPU later on to get better performance out of it for streaming with games that use more CPU than League of Legends.

aha I never installed the core parking hotfix, i will install and give you guys an update on the situation. And Mirror's Edge was not on PhysX

Well, the hotfix did not do much, should i use Nvidia NVENC? and if so what bit rate is optimal for 720p?

You were streaming... DmC? With a FX-8120? At 720p 60fps with 2600 bitrate and "Veryfast" preset? And only getting 40% usage? Something appears to be wrong. Really really wrong. You should by my calculations be hitting at LEAST 60% usage.

Same difference... that game has a lot of serious action in it, and I'm assuming you were playing on max settings... you should have had more than 40% CPU usage. I still think something is wrong, unless your chip is OC'd to like 4.8-5GHz and your log file shows otherwise.

Here are my specs in case if anything is wrong
Gtx 770 2gb
Amdfx 8120
Corsair tx550m
Crosshair v motherboard
16gb ram

we know your specs... and you should be able to run 720p60 and still average 100+ fps without a problem in league

Exactly. I think you have some sort of hardware error/incompatibility. Can you get well above 60fps in LoL WITHOUT streaming? You should be getting something like 150+ fps.
