Please help me I try to stream, but my older consoles with a dazzle for now, and every time I stream it lags, and FPS drops. Does anyone know a way to resolve this problem? I'm new to OBS, and I'm not the most experienced with this stuff so some of it I don't understand yet.

Your CPU is a single core. It's going to struggle with encoding and keeping all the useless Windows junk up and running. I'd recommend a quad core at the very least if you want to stream.

Of course you could try and disable multi core optimization, but I doubt it's going to help.

Yes, and a new motherboard to support the new socket and new ram to support the new motherboard. Basically a whole new computer.

you could actually just throw your current system away and buy a whole new one since your system is like ~8years old and pretty much starts struggeling with a flash player stream

Alright well thank you guys alot it really did help. I'll just buy a new computer it'll be cheaper, and better. Hopefully that solves it, and I'll just use this one to watch chat.

What would you recommend?

i cant recommend anything without having a budget

you have to set a price and i would look what i could recommend as a complete setup without an OS except if you want to i would add one and link it here so you can have a look and decide

An AMD FX-63 / FX-83 or Intel i5 / i7. That would get you rolling into streaming without a hitch.

or not buying extreme budget (amd) but instead an in intel xeon since its only my opinion but amd has literally only changed the clockspeed over the last 4 years if you wonder why... just look at the price drop of the fx 9590 which was around 900 Euros and dropped down to 280Euro after 1 year due to retarded high tdp ... temperature problems and whatnot there is a reason

if you want to get into streaming gaming and have a solid build spend a few bucks more and go with intel cpu's and gpu whatever you like since this is the only part where amd is kind of good with as long as you dont look at the tdp ;) but price to performance amd will always be a bit better on the gpu side

oh and the 280Euro for the fx 9590 is with the included watercooling system since it cant be cooled in any other proper way due to its 220watts tdp and its also never to oc itself to 5ghz because its getting too hot too fast that the cpu thinks it can ouput its ful potential

Cleared the offtopic discussion, do that on irc or somewhere else please.
We definitely have had several users with issues using AMD systems in the FX-8*** range and FX-6*** streaming the games they play on the same PC. In general, they should be fine though for most stuff. Personally I would currently recommend to go for Intel if you plan to stream and game on the same PC. The xeon's are a good tip. Get a Haswell generation and you get a cheaper i7 without integrated graphics chip (in most cases). They are more or less the same chip, just with support for some server functions that you will probably not use.
Now guys, please let NoirVenom3 respond and if there is a question left, ask it.
