If you arent a twitch partner you shouldnt use such high stream settings. downscale your resolution to 720p and lower your bitrate to 2000-3000. Also you could use the alternative youtube. my experience shows that you can stream with higher specs on youtube without problems. youtube allows a bitrate of 9000 for a 1080p stream. also in youtube you and your viewers have a quality option. the quality options in twitch are only available if you are a partner. further i recommend to change your cpu preset to medium your faster (you must look at your cpu usage. if your cpu can handle medium you should use medium. this increase your stream quality).

I have the EXACT same problem. PC specs and connection are good but it keeps buffering. I really have no idea what to do. Lowering the bitrate seems to have made it a bit better but then it looks awful and still buffers.. I tried the youtube way and it works perfectly, looks much better, but I really would like to stream on Twitch..

Could changing server fix the problem? And why do we even have this problem? Other streamers seem to be fine even with worse connections.. :/

how i said the problem are the twitchserver. if you arent a twitch partner you should use lower specs because twitch wont give you the "full power". i use for twitch 720p@60fps with 2800-3000 Bitrate and some viewers have problems. because this twitch problems i use twitch AND youtube. if you have enough upload you can send the stream easily to twitch and youtube at the same time. and everytime somebody of my viewer says he has problem with the twitch stream i guide them to the youtube stream and the problem is solved.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I just forgot about it and didn't get any email notifications.
I also stream on both but only once at a time.. How do you stream to both services at the same time?

you have 2 options. you can just use https://restream.io/ (you send your stream to restream and restream sends it to more than one streaming server) or you make your own stream server with ngnix. here is a tut that i found on google
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YGzkD1Su7Q
i would use the own stream server if you have a good upload because restream has a big delay. (with your upload it isnt a problem to use the own streaming server)

The last option seems pretty good, thanks! I managed streaming to twitch through nginx but I can't find what's the Youtube rtmp to do the same.
In this forum I found this: rtmp: //a.rtmp.youtube.com/videolive?sparams=id%2Citag%2Cns%2Cexpire&itag=34&ipbits=0&expire=xxx&key=yt_qc&signature=xxx&ns=yt-live&id=xxx

But it seems too long/wrong, I have the XXX in key but what about Signature XXX and ID XXX?

Thanks again!

EDIT: The youtube rtmp has to be: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/StreamKeyGoesHere.
