Question / Help Stream disconnecting after 10-15 seconds of streaming.

Hi there,

I'm trying to stream League of Legends and I've spent hours trying to figure out why this has been happening. The problem is, is that I am disconnecting about 10-15 seconds into streaming and OBS goes into the attempting to reconnect stage. While I'm "streaming" for that 10-15 seconds nothing is appearing up on Twitch.tv.
I've made sure that I've got the correct Stream Key and I haven't gone crazy with the settings and I've tried to keep everything low while still a decent quality. I think it might be something to do with Hamachi stopping me from streaming, but I don't know. Here are the logs. Thank you.

Frankfurt server is currently exploding, try another server.

Moved to Questions and Help, not a bug.

Hey there, I had tried the UK - London server before moving over to Frankfurt. I heard that UK server wasn't working and that's why I had moved. So does this mean both the servers are down at this time? Thanks for the advice and sorry about posting in the wrong area. I'll give NL - Amsterdam a try. Thanks again.

Oh i forgot to mention that the UK server hadn't worked either. I just quoted "I heard that UK server wasn't working"

Just keep trying servers until you get a more stable connection, maybe even try New York or Ashburn.

Alright, I've just tried the Amsterdam and Stockholm servers. They're both not working. Are all EU servers down at the moment?

I'll try some other regions then. What's the disadvantage of streaming on a lower latency server? I heard the only difference is that there is a slightly longer delay. If it is just that, then I'll have no problem streaming on other servers. I'll go give it a try now. Thanks.

Yeah, you really just need to find a server that is stable and can handle the bitrate you want to use. If the ping is high, but doesn't drop frames or disconnect you, then it's fine.

Looking over your log again, you may need to make sure to add an exception in your firewall/antivirus for OBS.exe

I've just finished trying most of the US servers. Haven't finished yet though. I've already made an exception in my firewall, but I'll need to check my antivirus. Thanks.

Okay I've tried every server. I even tried the Singapore server, but none of them work. I've made an exception on my antivirus/firewall, and they all still don't work. Any ideas?

Unfortunately it just seems like your connection is unstable right now, especially if ALL of the servers are exhibiting the same behavior. You could make try another streaming service, though.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I forgot to check the next page. I should mention that I'm using a powerline adapter because my router is downstairs and my PC is upstairs. Could this be what is causing the problem?

It's very possible, because after you said all servers show the same behavior, it really seems to me like your connection is very unstable. Not being plugged in to a traditional LAN cable would explain a lot. Those powerline adapters never have been very reliable if you need high throughput (like for streaming)
