Question / Help Stream DCs frequently only when streaming PS3

I'm having a bit of a strange problem that I can't find much, if any info about. I can and have been streaming PC games fine with minimal disconnects (ISP to blame when it does happen) since last September. However, I recently started streaming console games (PS3 specifically) with a splitter (Sewell) and capture card (Avermedia Extremecap U3) setup that connects to a USB3 port.

This, and only this scenario will drop frames and result in a full disconnect on average every 10 minutes. Sometimes a lot more frequently, sometimes it's stable for an hour (though rarely).

I've tried lowering bitrate, adjusting framerate, using a different USB port, removing connections from my router... when I switch to playing a PC game, the connection is instantly fine. I am at a loss as to what could be causing the DCs. I would be very thankful for any idea at a solution.

Is it just the stream, or your whole network connection? Also, could we see a log file?

It's only the stream that drops. I've attached a log file from one of yesterday's dcs.

In that log you only had one disconnection, and then the rest were due to you trying over and over again while it possibly thought you were still online:

"Could not access the specified channel or stream key. This could be because the key/channel is invalid, or because the server still thinks you are logged in."

I can't say I know how to read logs, but I mean, that's what it does. It drops to 0kb/s, will drop frames, then disconnect, and then it takes about ~2 mins to reconnect because the server thinks I'm still online. And then it happens again 10 minutes later. Only when using this specific setup. I cannot stress enough that this does not happen at all with PC games. Hence the confusion!

Like I said, I don't really know how to read them, but there should be a few dcs in there. 21:20, 21:29, 20:51...

No no, you read it correctly. You were correct, I didn't see it. That being said though I'm just not entirely sure if I could really determine a cause - I usually look at log files to see if there's anything unusual more than anything. I don't see anything else unusual unfortunately though. You seem to drop frames and then disconnect.

I would recommend especially running shaperprobe (linked in there) to check to see the stability of your internet connection (note, we're not really checking for traffic shaping, but more internet stability and bitrate, but traffic shaping could always be a possibility too)
