Question / Help Stream availability: Poor

R1CH's stream analyzer tool said I have a "poor" connection to both EU and American servers after analyzing my own stream. What disadvantage does this give me compared to people who have a "good" stream availability? Does that mean they can stream at a higher bitrate without having viewers buffering and that I have to stream at low bitrate, or doesn't it mean anything? Also, is there any way I can achieve a good stream availability?

Is this result concluded by my internet connection to the servers or does it have to do something with twitch's way of sending non-partnered streamers data to the San Francisco server?

Last question.... if all stream data from non-partnered streamers goes directly to the San Francisco server, wouldn't it be better, faster and more efficient to select San Francisco in the FMS URL in obs instead of the one I'm using now?(Amsterdam)

Thanks in advance!

It only says poor because you are not partnered.
And changing where you send data to, has absolutely no influence on where the viewer is getting the data from.

Still weird though, how I see other non partnered streamers with maybe 10 viewers who actually DO have a "good" stream availability and stream at a constant 3000+ bitrate without having viewers complaining about buffering. That's not the same with me....

It depends on a number of things: partner status, viewer count, viewer locations, stream uptime and twitch capacity. Basically Twitch won't bother replicating your stream to a regional datacenter if no one is watching from there. Also depending on how much free network capacity they have, they might not do it just for one or two viewers either, and it's less likely they'll do it for a stream that just started. So generally the more viewers from all around the world you have, the better replicated / available your stream will be.

Thank you very much
