Question / Help Stream always has black bars - 720p @ 1280x1024

Sorry for the generic title, but I don't know how to describe this.

I have an old monitor that has a 1280x1024 resolution, but I play my games at 1280x720.

Whatever combination I try, setting my VGA resolution to 1280x720 or 1280x1024, or streaming at 1280x720/1280x1024, there are always clipping issues, as shown here.

I would apppreciate any help, thanks!

EDIT: my friend has a 16:9 monitor, he gets black bars too.

This is true, but there is a black border all around my stream, top and bottom too.
