Hello ladies and gentlemen, I've come to the forums to try and get some help about some problem that I've encountered recently and can't find any logical explanation for..
I'm a picarto user and recently became friend with an other artist who wanted to multistream with me but for a strange reason, once I accept her invitation or she accepts mine, her computer's performance will drop drastically as soon as i launch OBS. We tried testing it with other streamers and for some reason that performance drop happens exclusively when I launch OBS. We tried many things to fix the issues but nothing seems to be working. She tried closing down all applications and browser she had running and nothing. We both tried fiddlings with our OBS settings including change the bitrate around and other stuff but still, for a mysterious reason whenever I launch my stream her computer sinks instantly. If she cancel the multistream invite on Picarto's website her computer goes back to normal.
I spent multiple hours yesterday trying different thing including trying out Xsplit, that one somehow doesnt seem to drop her computer's performance, but the image quality of Xsplit is horrendous. I think I exhausted all the solutions I could come up with and have yet to make any kind of progress.
If this performance drop happened with other streamers we could deduce her computer is at fault but at the moment it exclusively happens with me. Any way I can figure out what causes it or how to make a log that would have the required info for both of us?
