Question / Help Stops recording before I tell it to

I've been trying to video myself playing The Sims 3, but I can't get it to work. When I watch the video back through, it freezes on one screenshot. I can hear the audio in the background, but the screen does not move. It also won't film longer than a minute and always stops filming before I tell it to.
