Hi all!
I'm having a big problem with OBS and it's driving me crazy.
When I've finished recording, the program gets stuck on "stopping recording" and I have to force-close the "obs-ffmpeg-mux.exe" service to actually stop it. This causes the corruption of the recorded file (if it is a conventional .mp4) or, if I record in .mkv or fragmented .mp4, the appearance of a visible and editable (but of an unpredictable duration) file.
At first I thought it was a generic "stopping recording" issue but I realized that this only happens if I have some Video Capture Device ACTIVE in the scene. If the video capture device is disabled (or it's not there at alll), it would stop and end the recording normally.
I've tried everything: different versions of OBS, updating drivers, trying a thousand and one recording formats and settings and even going back to previous versions of Windows.
The truth is that my cameras (I have several Logitech Brio and one ElGato Camlink 4K) work competently and stably in other programs. The problem must be with how OBS interacts with a Video Capture Devices, and "something" must be happening if I they are present and the record is being stopped.
Any solution you could give me would be greatly appreciated... I use OBS daily for work (I'm a content creator) and I'm as stuck with this as the "stop recording" button :`)
PS: In case it helps, I'm leaving you attached a log file that I just generated, after having to stop the "obs-ffmpeg-mux.exe " process again to get the recording actually stopped. Clean scene, just two Video Capture Devices there, nothing more.
