I want to stream an art program (Manga Studio 5 EX). I've had no problem with this on my old computer, but once I started using my new one, it's just stuck on the black screen.
I've set both OBS and the other program to run on the "high performance NVIDIA processor", restarted both programs, and nothing. I've also checked to make sure the video adapter is correct in OBS' settings (there's only that option anyway).
I'm trying to do monitor capture, by the way. This is when I add a scene and source by right clicking and selecting monitor capture, then trying to preview the stream.
Here are my specs:
Laptop: MSI Leopard GP60 2PE
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
Processor: Intel core i7 2.6 ghz
RAM: 8 gb
Graphics card: NVIDIA 840m
Direct X is up to date.
Thanks in advance.
