Hello friends ,

I'm new with OBS , in fact I'm new in this huge world of streaming , I got OBS watched a tutorial about how to make the settings and all that kind of stuff...all good.

Now my question is , Is it possible to make OBS focus on a window I want , to be able to navigate at the same time on the same computer that is streaming?

If you turn on aero (only reason to disable it is if you use win7 + monitor capture, and dont do that anyway <-<) and use window capture or gamecapture on it. Remember that if you MINIMIZE the window, windows will not render it anymore so it wont refresh. As long as its just behind some other window it will still be on top in your scene.

the problem is I can't enable nor disable aero , I'm using windows 8 , can I work something out here?

On Windows 8 it doesnt matter, if you use window capture/gamecapture on the window you want to always capture (and again do NOT minimize it) then it will always be shown.

I tried that but whenever I change the tab of the browser , my stream image changes too...and if I go to properties of the window capture the tab that I was streaming is not there anymore until I refresh again...

Window capture works by finding the window based on the Window title. Changing tabs on a browser changes the window title, so when you switch back, it can't find the window anymore.

You can try adding the browser capture as a global source, that might fix the problem.

Ok so here is what I want to do , I want to restream some dota2 games , so I want to let my stream capture a stream full screen (which I don't find any tab called flash player bla bla bla) and to be able to navigate on my own...
I found what u wre saying dodgepong , the problem was I was opening tabs into the same firefox process , I opened a new firefox and switch to it and the stream was keep going on the previous...exactly what I needed. But now the problem is I can't full screen it , If I full screen the video obs keeps showing me the minimized one but ofc in black since that doesn't work anymore because flashplayer takes action on full screen
