Hello everyone. I’m having an issue with my Steinberg UR12 audio interface and Audio-Technica AT2020 microphone, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insight. In OBS Studio, the microphone signal only comes through the left channel, and sometimes I also get noise and distortion. The Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver occasionally shows the error “Audio interruption due to USB error.” What I’ve noticed is that this error appears specifically when my camera (Logitech C920 or iPhone via Camo Studio/Snap Camera) is visible in the active OBS scene. If the camera source is simply hidden in the scene — not removed, just hidden — the audio works normally and the error does not occur. In FL Studio and Discord, the sound is perfectly clean, so the issue seems to be tied to OBS and the camera being active. I have tried different driver versions (2.0.3, 2.1.7, 2.1.9), disabling the camera’s audio in OBS, changing USB ports, swapping cables, and increasing the buffer size, but the problem persists. My suspicion is that there may be a USB bandwidth or device conflict when the camera feed is being processed alongside the UR12 audio. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to resolve this, whether using a separate USB controller or powered hub could help, or if there’s a known workaround for this kind of interaction between OBS, the UR12, and a camera source. Any suggestions or shared experiences would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
