Question / Help Steam & Streaming

Hello!

I seem to have a problem with streaming steam games. I've tried running the games(all my steam games), the sympthom is a black screen with no picture. Non-Steam games run fine. I've tried running the game and broadcaster as admins, tried multiply sources in the broadcaster.

Any help?
 
Which games? Some games simply don't work with Game Capture. Try them with Window Capture, with Aero ON (almost as fast as Game Capture mode).

Also, please post a log of a live streaming session (not just an offline test). It will provide a lot of information we'll need to track down the problem.

I can close-to guarantee that it's not Steam causing the problem; I run most/all of my games through Steam, and have tested with OBS running as a non-Admin user, and an Admin user capturing from a non-admin account running the games.

My Aero is on by default, I tried running without areo(windows basic), with same results.

Have tried so far, Sins of an Solar rebellion, Dawn of Fantasy, RisingStorm/Red orchestra so far from my steam inventory. It dosen't work with window capture, screen is back, same monitor capture except for that the correct mouse currisor is shown. btw I use 2 monitors one native 1920x1080 and my second 1680x1050. My non-steam games that i've tried are Minecraft and Supreme Ruler Cold War, which work.

Hold on, got dawn of fantasy and Rising Storm to work when clicking 'Stretch image to screen'. But sins still has the same issue as previously.
