Question / Help Static/Feedback During Stream

Hey guys,

I am trying to get into streaming so I recently purchased a headset with a microphone. Currently when I try and stream I hear a slight amount of static but it keeps coming through in bursts. I dont really know how to explain it but I can turn the stream on for someone if they want to hear what it sounds like.

Does anyone know how to decrease the static that comes through or how to eliminate it completely?

I've done lots of investigation into a similar problem (I use a two PC setup) and at least for me the problem was related to my onboard integrated audio. If you're able to lend a sound card from somewhere to see whether that removes your problem, other than that I can't really recommend anything.

Cheers.

Are there any sound cards you can recommend? Not going for anyhting super crazy.

Unfortunately I can't recommend any sound card as I never used one. I actually ended up just using my capture card's HDMI to send audio from one PC to another.

Cheers.

Xonar DGX is pretty nice & cheap internal soundcard, and I've not had no problems with it. But before blowing cash may I ask which headset you have?
