Question / Help starting a stream on twitch, resolution issues.

I want to start streaming on Twitch.tv, connection and quality are all ok, not the best but it works, audio is fine and video is for the most part, however due to the forced 16:9 thing I can't get the resolution right. my standard monitor resolution is 1280x1024 and I can't get the stream right, its either to zoomed in or its tiny with black boxes around it, any help appreciated.

That's what I'm having trouble as well. Everything was fine now I got it too. :( Everytime I keep posting it gets deleted. Why?
