Obs was working fine yesterday but i just went to stream some games today and it tried to connect me to twitch, and said live for around 10 seconds and then just said it went offline. So i downloaded the update to try and fix this, it didn't. Also tried changing servers and readding my stream key, all failed.

I too am having the same problem. Was working fine the other day, haven't changed any settings. The weird thing is that it says I'm live on my profile, but my friends cant see the stream. And to top it off, twitch even records the stream.

I have the same problem.
Yesterday it was working just fine but when i downloaded the new version and it just wouldn't go on for more than 5 seconds.
I tried to reinstall delete AppData and it didn't work. Then I decided to completely reinstall OBS and still the same.

Hi guys, I had this same problem the last couple days but found a fix that worked for me.

OBS Settings > Encoding

Under audio encoding, I changed the format to 44.1khz. Hopefully works for you guys too.

Hm, are you sure those were from when a problem happened? Because those logs don't indicate anything was wrong and the stream stopped because "Stop streaming" was pressed. Check your hotkeys, make sure your stop stream hotkey isn't set to anything you are accidentally pressing.

That is not the problem, I checked it and I don't even have a stop stream hotkey.
But this started happening after the latest patch (0.59b). Before that everything was fine.

WOW! Thank you SafetyMan! This worked!

I was beginning to worry that I might not be able to properly stream with OBS to twitch, as Warhammer Online is shutting down on the 18th, I wanted to stream as much of it as I can, this fixed the problem 100%! thanks again! Hope it helps others with the same problem!

Will try to stream here nightly until the 18th: http://www.twitch.tv/z0mb13n1nja

Seems like the encoding setting worked for me, i appreciate the help buddy. Don't know why it's happening all of a sudden D: but happy to have it fixed.

Oh, right. I completely forgot about that Twitch requirement. MP3 MUST be 44.1khz now, but AAC can be either. I guess they're actually enforcing it, now?

AAC is generally the better choice, anyway. Unless you need to go below 128 bitrate for audio, you should stick with AAC.
