Question / Help Starcraft 2 Streaming Problems

Hello!

I've been using OBS for awhile now (amazing btw) and ever since I updated recently (I think the last time I updated was a few months ago, not sure - been at work for the last few months), my SC2 has slowed to a crawl. I've been using almost the lowest settings in SC2 and it used to run perfectly fine, 100 fps+

My computer specs are

Windows 8 Pro (Bootcamp from Retina MBP)
2.4GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz) with 6MB shared L3 cache
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching

It's connected to a 1920x1080 resolution external monitor

Internet is

Any idea what's wrong?

What specific version did this start happening? Could you try the latest release (0.552) and let me know about the results?

I'm not sure about which specific version, but I'd probably say that I was able to stream even as late as April. I know the best times for my streaming was around late Jan/early Feb, but that's a long time ago. I will check the latest release and let you know what's up. Do you want the log?

Just started streaming again and the slowdown is back, this time - it doesn't ALWAYS happen but I would say... 80% of the time it does. It slows all the way down from the normal 120-150 FPS down to 60 in the first few minutes, to 20-22 after the 10 minute mark usually. Any ideas?

Have you checked your CPU temperature? SC2 is very CPU hungry and so is streaming, your CPU might be throttling.

R1CH from TL??? I feel like I'm TL boards now.

What's a high CPU temp that I should be watching out for? The fans for sure come on but I'm not sure what a high temperature/throttling temp is and what isn't. It feels weird (maybe not?) because there are some streaming sessions that go on for awhile that my FPS doesn't drop, and there are some streaming sessions where my FPS does drop pretty rapidly. No real changes in temperature in my apartment either.

Using RealTemp 3.70

Getting an average of 70-72

edit: my FPS just went down to 20
SC2 is on lowest on all options except resolution
Temperature maxes out at 75
