Hey there!

I need some help with some settings on OBS. Here's a quick log from my most recent video. The Game Capture was a little choppy at parts but my webcam wasn't? So I would love to know how to fix it. I didn't have much Frame Drop or really heavy CPU usage (60% max for that recording):

I would be soooo grateful if anyone could suggest anyone! I'm awful at stuff like this! I think us girls rely too heavily on the men to do it :D I know my laptop specs aren't that brilliant, but I've recorded perfectly fine before! :)

Thank you!

Ok, you are only recording right? You unlimited the bitrate and set a crf of 20, so what you could do is decrease your preset to superfast or even ultrafast, this will create bigger files, but the visual quality should be similar. You will have to check, but maybe you can use a slightly lower downscale then as well, 1.25 to 1024x576 for example, or even do a test without downscale.
One thing you could also do is lower the resolution of your webcam a bit, as you never really need the full 1280x720 or do you use scenes where you show your webcam in fullscreen?
The rest looks ok, by the way if you dont cut off the beginning of the log you dont have to post your specs by hand, they are included in the log file :)

Yeah I'm only locally recording for my Youtube Channel! I only use OBS to add the webcam and gameplay together as one file :) If everything looks okay, what is making my Elgato source a bit choppy? Having the settings up too high? I've never had choppy gameplay before until I started receiving an Encoding Warning error, which I've now sorted! Thank you so much for the suggestions so far!
