Question / Help Sound Question

Hello all,

I am new to streaming and using OBS and I had a question regarding what I would like to do with my sound. I have searched and can't seem to find a way to do it.

I would like to limit the sound that is streamed to only my mic on push to talk, and game sounds only. I would like the rest of my system sounds IE other voice chats, IM sounds, Skype calls etc to NOT be broadcasted over the stream. Is there any way to limit the sound like this?

Close everything then extract and Install this http://vbaudio.jcedeveloppement.com/Dow ... ack42b.zip

Right click the Speaker icon on the bottom right of your screen then "recording devices" go to "cable output" properties >listen then check listen to this device and select your default windows playback device.
Go to the game audio options and make sure that it output audio to to "cable input" instead of directly to your sound card.

Launch OBS and select "cable input" as your default device that way obs only picks up your game audio.

While you're there you can also specify a push to talk hotkey for your mic.
