Sound is too quiet in the recording

I use the source "Game Capture + Game Sound Capture (Beta)" and for some reason the sound on the recording is 2-3 times quieter than it really is. When I use the output audio stream capture, everything is fine. But I just need to capture the sound from the game. Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue. I have been using desktop audio as a workaround.

Yesterday I disabled Desktop Audio and added Audio Output Capture instead, for the purpose of having a 2nd scene. Today, when I tested the Game Capture, the levels are coming in at the correct volume.

I don't know why that would have fixed it, but the issue seems to be resolved. Good luck!

To clarify, I now deleted the Audio Input Capture and and the Game Audio is still fine. I will test more and check back in if anything changes.

I know this is late, but for anyone who finds this thread: my friend fixed the low recording volume by disabling Audio enhancements for the headset output device in Windows
Path: Settings → System → Sound → (your headset/output device) → Properties → Advanced → Audio enhancements: Off (or similar, my windows is in french)
Headset is a Logitech G PRO X Wireless with G HUB installed
