Question / Help sound delayed

Just in case someone has the same problem :)

I've been into this issue today during a broadcast and the mixer audio offset didn't work. It works when you want to 'add' delay in the audio (positive number in the box) but when what you want to do is to 'substract' a given delay in the audio (negative number in offset box) then it just stays like if the value was 0 leaving the audio and video sync like it was before trying to fix it.

To 'substract' the delay in the audio i added a filter in the video called 'render delay'. This adds a delay to the video, which is the same as substracting delay to the audio. Keep in mind that the filter can only handle a delay of 500ms max, so maybe you will have to add more than one filter.

Thank you, Zapa!

I had to add a 1000ms delay, and was a bit miffed that 500ms was the maximum. Adding a second render delay fixed it.
