Question / Help Sound capture problem on local capturing

Hi there.

I save videos from Eve online game of fights we have. I like to include the voicecomms on the video. However there is a problem.

I have my computer set up so, that all other sounds come from speakers, but the TS / mumble comes from headset. When capturing video locally, it includes the sounds from speakers (game sounds / music), it includes my voice I speak to the microphone, but excludes everything I hear from headphones, whitch is everyone else speaking on comms.

Is there a way to capture the sound both from my line out to speakers AND headphone out to headphones?

Look into this program: http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm. It allows you to route sounds to different sources and do other cool things.

Maybe it will solve your problem

P.S: its a little complicated but once you figure it out it does wonders.

Yes, VAC will do this.

Set up a virtual line, and then 2 virtual cables that take what is sent to your headphones and what is sent to your speakers, and send them both to the virtual line. Then set your Desktop device in OBS to be the virtual line.
