This made me hope that it may be possible to remote control the camera from OBS without Imaging Edge, and especially on Linux (I have an Ubuntu desktop and a ILCE-6100 camera).
Whatever they have published sits behind and awful amount of legalese, but if it it is just the documentation that's needed, then surely, that wouldn't be relevant for an implementation.
Has anyone looked into it to see if it is feasible for OBS to use it for remote control and video capture?
