Hi! Im having issues recording with Xsplit, Im using a Lenovo Y50 laptop and i have already changed the nvidia setting so that obs runs on the nvidia gpu. The resolution of my laptop is 1920 x 1080 and on config->video my resolution appears as 1536 x 864.

You won't have access to monitor capture on your switchable graphics laptop if you follow the instructions in the black screen thread. Making those changes allows window and game capture to work, but you lose monitor capture. To fix window capture you should turn off DPI scaling. Right-click on your OBS shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

Not sure where XSplit fits into the picture.

I have disabled DPI scaling but the windows are still chopped off at the bottom and at the right. The first screen was captured while obs was on preview mode, the second one is what it should be capturing. If there is anything i can make to be more clear please let me know, english isnt my native language :P

You don't appear to have disabled it correctly, or you didn't restart OBS (using the shortcut) for the changes to take effect.

The option is now checked, OBS was closed when i did it and i opened it again to take the screenshots, I don´t know whats the shorcut to restart it.

Go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display and set the size to 100%, then reboot and try again.
