Try downloading a torrent(a legal one of course, with lots of seeds for maximum speed, like a Ubuntu distribution), cap upload speed to your OBS speed and set the download speed to something really low.
Then try playing. This is to make sure if it's just OBS or if you always have problems while uploading(ISP throttling/faulty or slow router/...).

I already said that I can stream at 4000 bitrate with any other program (just got that fps problems then).
I also can do uploads at constant ~600-630KB/s (kilobyte) = ~5Mbit.

Hi recon,

Do you think you could run this program and give us the output? It tends to be more reliable than sites like SpeedTest.net for reporting upload speed since it takes network shaping into consideration, which a lot of ISPs use to give fast initial speeds, but slower speeds after the first burst. http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~partha/diffpr ... probe.html

Also, could you upload a log of a stream using the most recent version of OBS? I know you upgraded the other day, and the new version also includes new logging info that could give insight.

Must be hard to believe the fact that I get full constant bandwidth from my ISP.
We are getting quality where i live ;)
What a waste of 5 minutes of my time... Thanks for that!

Downstream: No shaper detected.
Median received rate: 95657 Kbps.

Oh and the contents of the logs are still the same.. There are no changes or more stuff which is logged.
As I said I will just try and mess up the settings again... Otherwise I will just quit and stream with other programs on lower settings.

Sorry for your frustration. I'm just trying to get as much information as possible to rule out common causes. It's not hard to believe your ISP doesn't shape your connection, but it helps to be sure, because I've seen that be the problem for some people.

We're trying to help you, so please try not to get impatient. We're all volunteers, here, after all.

Smoshi, please stop making these posts. R1CH asked people to "stop by" the live chat as in "come there and talk to me", not "stop using it". Even if you are trying to help, you need to curb your enthusiasm a bit before you post.

The high ping issue had nothing to do with the live chat, it was fixed using an experimental new build (version) that R1CH wanted people to try out.

Also have the problem. If I with OBS Streaming my Ping rises between 30 and 180 and it strongly starts to Lagging. With xSplit and the same Settings my Ping lies between 30-50 without Laggs.

R1CH, is it okay if i can get this new update of the program ? because i have the same problem i mean when i stream with other programs my ping stays around 40ms but with OBS it goes to 70- 120+ms and i would love to have this fixed. Changing some of my settings helped a bit but not much.

This is the one I downloaded some days ago to test it.
It's 32bit only and includes the ping fix.

I have the same issue even with the new test build. Might be my isp... who knows. All I know is ping increases about a minute after i start streaming.

Sounds like comcast? If so you need to lower your upload a lot, your actual upload is a not what you see on speedtests due to their "powerboost".
