Hey.

When I'm trying to stream league of legends, I get a quite large FPS drop.

My specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom IIX6 1090T Overclocked @3,6 GHz. (6cores)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770
RAM: 16gb DDR3 1333mhz

For me, I'm quite confident that my specs should be good enough.
I normally run League of Legends at 150fps, but when I turn on the stream it drops to about 40, however, it feels more like 15-20.

The settings I use at OBS:

Encoding:
CBR: On
Max Bitrate: 2500

Video:
Base Resolution: 1920x1080
Resolution downscale: 1,5
Filter: Bilinear
Aero: Disabled
I use window capture

Are the anything I could change to increase the fps?

I solved the problem by changing to Game Capture. Thanks to Sapiens and Jim for helping me!

Stop using monitor capture; use window capture (with Aero enabled) or game capture instead.

Your specs should indeed be good enough, it's a good computer. I might recommend game capture over window capture because you're on windows 7 though, window capture kind of has some performance issues on windows 7 (though not on windows 8). Game capture ends up running best on windows 7 for that reason.

Strange, on OBS' end it's performing great. It takes you less than 1 millisecond to render your scene. I feel like something else is going on here. LoL isn't a very demanding game, there's a bazillion LoL OBS users too with far worse computers than you with the same settings.

Actually even I can run league at 720p 60fps with zero impact, and my computer is much less powerful, fewer cores, way more outdated video card, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on with your system here. See if 30fps in OBS helps at all, let's try to pinpoint what specific setting changes the impact.

If you're dissatisfied with the impact that streaming has on your in-game performance, then you'll either need to lower your quality settings, or get a second computer to stream from. Streaming is very demanding, so it makes sense that the game would suffer when you stream.

If you want to lower your settings, I would start by dropping the OBS frame rate to 30fps and see how that improves game performance. (As a side note, I notice that you're streaming to Twitch.tv, which means you need to set your keyframe interval to 2 in Advanced settings.)

Seems like it's fine now!
I'm using the same settings as last time, but now it's completely fine. I am using game capture now.

Seems like changing to game capture was the solution in my case. A bit weird that it didn't work yesterday though.
