Question / Help So even with the new elgato drivers output sound to Desktop is still busted.

So Io have to use output sound to desktop in order to record and stream at different bitrates using two instances of OBS. From the beta drivers that first fixed the eventual desync into now, output sound to desktop has just been busted. The sound is super delayed.

Anyone know of any other way to be able to capture sound from the elgato into two instances of OBS?

OBS-MP can stream and record simultaneously at different resolutions/bitrates, perhaps try that. Using a video capture source twice in two separate instances of OBS isn't going to work well, if at all.

I downloaded MP OBS, before, but I recall it still lacking way too many features. The two instances thing totally worked but the Elgato desync issue threw off the recording and stream.

I also tried using Xsplit but it seems to have its own set of issues.

A new version of OBS-MP was released in the past few days, which features are still missing that you require?

Multi platform seems to be very close to doing everything I need it to but I'm not able to get a smooth recording from my Game Capture HD in it. I'll post a log in the applicable forum.
