Question / Help Smoothness of the Stream

Hi -- been having great fun with OBS and have got it running very well with both AC and rF2. One issue I am seeing is that there appears to be quite a lot of micro-stuttering in the frame, even when the FPS is set at 45FPS (or even 60 FPS). I am running 1080p with max bitrate set at 6,000 in OBS and the 3,000-6,000 setting in YT. My measured upload is 25Mbps+. OBS is showing 0% frames dropped and in game my FPS is 70-80. Any ideas what could be causing it? Here is the video with the issue:

post your logfile from the help menu of OBS. your settings might be to high for your CPU.

ok so upload a log of when you actually streamed. i.e. go to the help menu and upload a log directly from there to ensure it captures a full log, then copy the hithub link it posts and paste the link here.

Just since you are so close in getting what you want, I would set you process priority to above normal as a test and see if that helps. dont go crazy with going anything higher than that as it will only cause other issues


Also, once you get everything setup, disable the OBS preview window by right clicking on the preview, click preview again then uncheck "enable view".

Thanks - yes I did a new test with upping process and everything is running great!

After a good few hours of live streaming - and running Assetto Corsa on the same machine - here are the stats. Very impressive.

Hello, Could you please help me to make OBS work with rfactor2. With rfactor1 OBS works fine but when I try it with rf2 the game does not start (it crashes). My system specifications are:


CPU amd fx 8350

GPU Asus hd 7970 3Gb

Ram Corsair dominator platinum 8GB
