Question / Help Skype calls muting OBS mic

So whenever I enter a Skype call when OBS is running, OBS instantly stops detecting my mic. The green bar below the microphone volume suddenly goes dead and the only thing OBS picks up is the Skype call. This has not happened before and OBS and Skype used to have no problems like this. I'll try my best to provide more information if you need it to assist me.
