Question / Help Skipping Frames

I don't know why, but my stream seems to be stuck on one frame and the audio becomes distorted when I tried to talk. Can anyone help me?

This hasn't happened to me ever since the update in September. These were the same settings that I used at the beginning of September.

I can't provide my past broadcasts because twitched automatically deleted them for some reason. I have tried changing to very fast, but the frames skips ever 2-3 seconds.

You're attempting to encode 1050p60 with the medium x264 preset on a 1st gen i5...you're gonna have a bad time.

Change the preset back to veryfast, downscale your resolution to at least 800p, and drop to 30fps.

Also don't use the "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps..." setting, that shouldn't be necessary.

Make those changes and report back, including a log, and we'll work from there.

Also, go into your Twitch settings to re-enable auto-recording of archives.

I got my friends to help me too. Thanks for the advice.

Here's the logs. I forgot to disable "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps" in this run.

Also, I enabled auto-recording. But it was deleted anyway because I didn't know about saving it to my own hard drive to keep it there.

You still have 8% late frames, which means your encoding settings are still too intense for your CPU. I noticed that you're still on faster preset and 1050p instead of veryfast and 800p. If you want to avoid late/duplicate frames, I really recommend downscaling to 800p. Besides, 1050p at 1350kbps will not look very good.

Oh, right, I was thinking your base resolution was 1920x1200, which is another 16:10 resolution.

I was going to say that 840p is close enough, but you still have 2% late frames. Try going one step lower resolution.
