Question / Help Since update, black screen

I know this is a VERY talked about topic...but i would really love to get this figured out once and for all. I just came back from a 3 week vacation and every game i try and stream will be black. Whatever the most common fixes are i would love to hear it. I've tried running OBS as admin and have tried enabling anti cheat but nothing seems to fix the issue. Thank you in advance everyone.

some say that this issue could be caused by anti malware addons. some say that adding in the anticheat hook will resolve it but I can see you already tried that.

Error code 5 almost universally means that game capture is being blocked by anti-cheat software. If enabling anti-cheat compatibility in the game capture source doesn't fix it, then the company that makes the game will need to whitelist OBS's latest version of game capture.
