Silly suggestion maybe?

This is just an enhancement, it would be nice to choose from fixed resolutions in the settings or a drop down menu somewhere you want the preview to be at. You would also of course still be able to resize the window to any size you see fit, this is just a "what you see is what you get" feature like XSplit has.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Perhaps a checkbox next to the custom resolution field or something that forces the preview window to be at the resolution you have specified in the settings?

yea, this is another thing I've actually though about before. do you mean the preview itself or the actual base stream resolution?

The preview, Xsplit doesn't let you manually resize the window, it just lets you set it to be 10%, 20%, 30%, ..., 100% of the output resolution.

Pretty sure Haliinen means the preview resolution. Back when I streamed at 640x400 I would spend ages precisely sizing the OBS window until the preview was exactly 640x400. Now that I stream high res it doesn't matter as much, but it'd still be nice to be able to pick some integer division of my base resolution like 960x600 so that the pixels in the preview will line up somewhat with the pixels on the stream.

You got it.
