Question / Help Shovel Knight Problems

Update: My problem is fixed, hope people see this forum and it helps them


So for the last 3 months ive been having little to no problems with my OBS Software, yesterday i bought a game called Shovel Knight and i wanted to record it for my YouTube channel. When i set Shovel Knight to "Game Capture", it was a complete black screen, on "Monitor Capture", it captures everything perfectly fine, but it creates frame drop/ lag in game. Its weird because the in game audio plays before the stuttering fps.... Ive tried to reset obs, put the game to a lower resolution, raise my OBS fps from 30-60 respectively, but nothing works. I know other people have the same problem (ive seen the forum questions), but the answers eather dont make sense, or ive tried and it doesn't work... where should i start?

P.s I have a very beefy computer, so its definitely not something mechanical.

LOL, dude you never get help on these forums. I have so many threads unanswered. In setting on shovel knight select fullscreen no border. I tested the game just now, and it is fine, works like a charm.

Monitor capture - borderless, Game Capture - Fullscreen ingame. Works fine for me aswel and I even streamed that game on release date with couple speedruns. So it's something in your settings.

I tried most of the things, and Bordered /w Full screen, and Monitor Capture works at 100%... thank u guys for helping me! Sorry i got mad, its annoying when you have a problem and you see 30-40 views and 0 comments -_-;

It's how it is lately here. Some people but rarely, are staying here and checking forum from time to time to help if they can. Glad that works.

Also you can't expect people to give up so much of their free time just to answer all these posts on the forum
