Question / Help Settings for quality without freezes

Hi i have this configuration

CPU : AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core Processor
MOHERBOARD : ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
RAM : DDR3 32GB (4x8GB PC3-14900 CL10)
GRAPHICS : Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB DDR5
HARD DRIVE : SSD Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SATA3
OPERATING SYSTEM : Windows 8.1 PRO 64Bits
VIDEO CAPTURA DEVICE : AVermedia AVerTV H727 Capture HD PCI-E
DOWNLOAD BANDWITH : 68.900 Kbps
UPLOAD BANDWIDTH : 12.500 Kbps

I need make Streaming video from source RCA (Video Composite) 576i (625 lines) (720x576) to my RTMP server on localhost.

I am using VMWARE + UBUNTU + NGINX or ADOBE FMS 4.5 for RTMP server (testing both).

But i don't know the corrects settings for streaming using OBS without lag and the better image quality.

I tried change decoder to slower but my transmission freeze and stop, if use veryfast never freeze but need fix the quality because it's very poor for my needs.

Hope anybody can help to me for a guide about configure the corrects sets using my hardware.

I saw 576i use 25FPS broadcast (satellite) perhaps i need change 30FPS to 25FPS, i am newbie on broadcast...

More bitrate means more quality so consider increasing that if you're still using just 600kbps. OBS can record your content to a file then you can upload it for us to check it if any amount of bitrate doesn't help your case.

actually do an test on www.testmy.net chose the closest server then if you got over 5mbit upload never go over 3500bitrate as a non partnered streamer on twitch actually dont even go over 2500 to prevent most of freezes due to bad twitch server connectivity

Can I ask what you actually trying to accomplish? You have a locally hosted RTMP server, which is fine, but I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish exactly. Are you just trying to make local recordings? Are you trying to broadcast to multiple places? Are you trying to deliver video to a particular place?

I'm just trying to figure out what you're trying to do so we can offer more intelligent advice on quality settings.

Hi, i have on my server location Win 8.1 64 bit, with OBS streaming to Adobe FMS 4.5 into RTMP to selft server on localhost, connected to internet with 11Mbps upload.

I want stream from this server to 50 places on differents locations via RTMP "Live"

Actually isn't freezing but i would like a quality of image better :)

Unfortunately You can't directly stream to 50 different places at an acceptable quality with the kind of upload that your have.

So you want to stream out video that you anticipate others watching in real-time as it's streamed out.

Aside from the bandwidth issues that hilalpro mention, I would recommend a bit rate around 1500kbps for 576p. That should be sufficient for most purposes. Make sure that you're using a good deinterlacing filter in the video capture device source that you're using to capture the 576i source. If your CPU is up for the task, you can try lowering the x264 preset to faster or fast to improve quality a bit beyond that. But you don't want to crank up bit rate very much or else people won't be able to watch it for lack of download speed.

I would recommend yadif x2 for deinterlacing as for how much upload you would need you can calculate it like this
1500 kbps x 50 = 75mbps in theory, you will sill need a little more than that for practicality though.. Alternatively a dedicated vps with 100mbps uplink should be able to handle the load.

Then i can use OBS for stream to VPS with Adobe FMS with RTMP module and clients connect to VPS, correctly?

Do you know a VPS with 100mbps uplink for renting ? I am looking for on ovh.net but i can't see upload bandwitch anywhere of website.
