Hello dudes and dudettes, I thought a few days ago to start a stream , but I'm not sure what settings would fit for my laptop's performances ( which are kinda mediocre ) .

Installed memory ( RAM ) : 4,00 GB ( 3,88 GB usable )
System type: 64-bit Operating System , x64- based processor
Display : Name: Intel(R) HD Graphics
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip Type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC Type: Internal
Device Type: Full Display Device
Approx. Total Memory: 1792 MB
Current Display Mode: 1366 x 768 ( 32 bit ) ( 60 Hz )

All drivers installed.

Mediocre wouldn't be the word that I would use, I would have to say that you're going to have to use the lowest settings that OBS should use. something like downscale to 360p with 30fps or less but set your bitrate to 1500-2000 which should help on the quality.

post a logfile after streaming for 5 minutes or more

512p still isn't low enough, drop the downscale to the lowest.

Code:
Total frames encoded: 1018, total frames duplicated: 166 (16.31%)
Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 129 (12.67%)

for both above need to be under 1%.

Also, what is your upload connection speed?

run this tool for your region and post a screenshot of the results

Ideally by getting a better system. But like dping said, you need to downscale more to make it work on your current system.
