I have been gaming and streaming off of the same PC, but now am working on setting up a dedicated streaming PC.
I have an Avermedia Live HD and am using a HDMI splitter.
I thought I had it figured out but I cannot get OBS to recognize the capture card. Drivers are up to date and Im using the latest OBS software.
I run an HDMI from my gaming rig to the input of the splitter. I run an HDMI from the splitter to the monitor, and another HDMI from the splitter to the streaming PC capture card input.
When I go into OBS>Settings>Video I only see my streaming PC video card, NOT the capture card. So it will not capture.
Just to test, I disconnected everything, and just tried to daisy chain on the streaming PC from the vid card to the capture card, then from the capture card to the monitor, all via HDMI. While the pass through worked and I got a picture on my monitor, the settings still ONLY say my streaming PC video card.
What am I missing here?
